MONTHS PASSED

I just remembered that I have a blog, just passing by for quite a while. It has been three or four months that I haven't been writing stuff on my blog. I had been very very busy with school requirements, studies, exams, going here and there and all that, like a bee as they usually say. I have a lot of things on my mind that I am ready to write but I guess those stuff would have to wait 'til Christmas break (AH SYARU, dili ko maka sulat).

writing soon.

Heroine

I was amazed of how much Cory Aquino had changed the Filipinos and the Philippines, and it is obviously seen throughout the sea of people that walked miles just to march with Cory for the last time. I am not really knowledgeable with the details of the historic peaceful revolution in 1986, I wasn't born yet, but I got the feeling of being there at that moment. On the day of her funeral rites, we had a mass offered for her here in the seminary and after the celebrant's short homily, I felt a strong squeeze in my heart and tears fell from my eyes. I couldn't help myself, but I felt a loss. Amidst the mourning and the feeling of losing someone dear, I said to myself, that the only thing that we could do to preserve the freedom she strongly fought for, is to be Patriotic and be Prayerful. It is my great wish for the Philippines to be honest and united.

Let us pray for the eternal repose of one brave woman, loving mother and respectful and honest leader.

The Lord has now given the mother of democracy in the Philippines rest. I admired Cory Aquino ever since I knew of the story she sparked. for me she's a heroine, that no monument or bust can ever represent. She fought for the freedom that we have now, the best thing we can do is to treasure, appreciate and care for that freedom.

the HEARTIST

I was excited about this week, and I mean, really excited. Preparation here and there, and all the busy-ness goin' on, then finally, the paintings have arrived in the south border, CEBU, and of course you can't miss the HEARTIST himself, Mr. Joey Velasco.

I haven't been at his gallery at the moment but I'm a fan of his very striking paintings. I love all the paintings of Joey Velasco, but the Paleta de Sangre is one of my personal choice.

FIRST TIME BLOGGER

On this day, I decided to make a serious attempt in the world of blogging... hehehe ... Hope I can commit to it...

As a starter, I'd like to share something about this pic,

its a picture of the banner of the green team from the great Manila experience. I love green, and this is one of my favorite pics of DBFC - SUMMER CAMP '09, LAGUNA, Too bad we left it there when we went back to Cebu. I'm still hoping to see it once more, waving from the wooden pole we made.

Summer Camp '09 was one great experience from God...

This banner's color represents nature, and that camp experience reminded me of the wonderful creation of nature. You can see and feel God's presence through nature.

Anyways, keep updated of my crazy-mixed-up or not , blog posts...
